Interactive Music Classes foR Children Aged 0-3
We are pleased to have a full class for Autumn Term 2019. Please email us at if you would like to be added to our waiting list or would like to be notified in the event that we add another class time in the future.
Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE) is a weekly interactive music class that provides you and your child a quality musical experience.
With our fast-paced musical curriculum and team teaching approach, your child will develop their musical, motor, cognitive and social skills in a positive and nurturing environment.
The Suzuki Early Childhood Education programme was developed in Canada and approved by Dr Suzuki and the International Suzuki Association in 1993. SECE classes are popular throughout the USA, Europe, and Australia. The classes came to the UK a few years ago, and to London only last year. We are excited to start the first SECE class in North London!
SECE Classes are weekly hour long sessions, led by two Suzuki-trained teachers. This team teaching approach allows for smooth transitions between activities, allowing you and your child to enjoy every moment!
Each week, parents and their children engage in a fast paced and varied musical environment. Activities include singing nursery rhymes, marching to a drumbeat, dancing, keeping a steady pulse, playing beautiful high-quality instruments, listening, and taking turns. A story time session ends each class.
We have a quiet area for parents to take their child in need of a moment of calm, with the support of one of the teachers. This allows the classes to flow with ease, be pressure free, and fully enjoyable.
We are different to other Early Years classes. Skills learned in the classes are built in layers, rather than taught and left behind. We want to link mastery to fun!
